TEACHER
I graduated from High School in 2008 from Plano East Senior High. I was in a graduating class of 1,444! Yes, that’s a lot! I received a softball scholarship to Midwestern State University and truly enjoyed every minute of my time there! We made it to Regionals in 2011, where we beat out West Texas A&M to secure our spot to Nationals in Virginia. We placed third. I graduated from college in 2012 and moved back home. I started subbing in Frisco in 2013 and was offered my first teaching job for the full 2013-14 school year.
Bachelors of Science in Education
GT, Capturing Hearts, CAMPT, PE, TGCA, etc.
This is my 4th year in Bushland ISD teaching 6th Social Studies (World Cultures).
I started teaching in 2013 at Maus Middle School in Frisco, TX. I coached volleyball, basketball, and track for six years. I have taught math, social studies, teen leadership, Partners PE, and PE. I grew up in a household of teachers and coaches. They inspired me to be where I am today.
I am happily married since 2014. Together we have two children, Lynnley and Emory. Lynnley started first grade this year and Emory is still in daycare. We are proud owners of two fur babies, Gunner and Scout. Scout is a Yorkie and Gunner is a Doberman.
I love to be around my family. Outside of school, I enjoy painting, drawing, hunting, singing, anything outdoors, and eating!
